Machias Fire Department Driver and Dispatcher Adam Hall gives a young friend the thrill of a young lifetime, helping them to handle a working firehose. Machias Town Manager Bill Kitchen, himself a Machias firefighter, was the guest reader at last Tuesday’s Story Hour at Porter Memorial Library and delighted them with a big red firetruck.
